Recreational Vehicle Insurance
The Foremost Motorcycle program offers superior coverage, and more value, than many other policies on the market today. It offers many extra features such as coverage for helmets, safety apparel, transport trailers and trip interruption expenses.
The Foremost policy is an annual policy not a seasonal one, so customers can enjoy their bikes at any time of the year. Our rates take into account the fact that most driving takes place during the warmer weather, while providing the extra flexibility most bikers want.
A Foremost policy provides important standard and optional coverages that are designed for motorcycles, including many extra features. Here are some examples of these outstanding coverages:
- Collision coverage protects the motorcycle in the event of damage caused by collision with other vehicles, trees or utility poles, regardless of fault.
- Coverage for Helmets and Safety Apparel protects valuable safety gear, such as leathers, goggles, boots and helmets (Collision coverage required).
- Other Than Collision coverage provides coverage for other kinds of damage to the motorcycle, such as fi re, theft, flood or vandalism.
- Liability coverage for third-party injury and property damage claims which result from an accident involving the covered motorcycle.
- Medical Payments coverage provides primary coverage for medical bills incurred for injuries resulting from a motor vehicle accident.
- Annual Policies means year-round coverage with no lay-up period, whenever the road calls, customers are covered. No extra phone calls, no hassles!
- Towing and Roadside Assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, help is just a toll-free phone call away from anywhere in the U.S. and Canada.
- Trip Interruption coverage when the insured bike is caught away from home and can’t be ridden because of a covered collision, a total of $500 is available per accident for food, lodging, etc. (conditions apply).
- Optional Equipment coverage provides up to $15,000 coverage for most permanently attached accessories such as parts, decorations, custom painting, chroming, sidecars or other items that were not originally provided by the manufacturer. $3,500 Optional Equipment coverage included with Comprehensive coverage.
- Trailer coverage provides coverage for trailers that tow the insured bike.
- Replacement Cost Total Loss Settlement provides replacement cost coverage for up to two years on bikes purchased new and with a maximum MSRP of $35,000.
Motor Home Insurance
Foremost understands how important it is for RVers to be able to enjoy the great outdoors without worrying about whether they have the right insurance policy.
A specialized Foremost Motor Home, Travel Trailer or Fifth-Wheel policy covers the things that are most important to your customers.
Here are some of the Motor Home coverages we offer that aren’t included in a typical auto policy:
- Comprehensive coverage for protection from just about any direct, sudden, and accidental loss, including: collision, fire, smoke, floods, landslides, hail, windstorms, animals, vandalism, low branches or overhangs, theft and lightning.
- Coverage for attached accessories, including awnings, satellite dishes and TV antennas.
- Emergency Expenses coverage that pays for lodging or travel home if your customer’s rig is damaged or destroyed by a covered loss more than 50 miles from home.
- Campsite/Vacation Liability coverage that provides liability coverage when your customer using a parked motor home as a residence.
Optional Motor Home Coverages
Total Loss Replacement Coverage protects your customer’s motor home from the effects of depreciation. If a new-model motor home is destroyed within its first five model years, and your customer is the original owner, we’ll pay to replace it with a brand new one of similar kind and quality – no matter what it costs as long as your customer replaces the motor home.
In years 6-10, we’ll give your customer up to the original purchase price toward the purchase of another motor home. This option can save your customer literally thousands of dollars when compared to typical auto policies, which pay only the Actual Cash Value (ACV) of the motor home at the time it’s destroyed.
Replacement Cost Coverage on personal belongings that are destroyed or stolen is another option worth considering, particularly for customers who use their RV often and those people who carry a lot of expensive personal property on their trips.
TraveLine® Towing and Roadside Assistance eliminates the hassle of buying a separate towing plan. Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year everywhere in the United States and Canada, towing, jump starts, roadside service, flat tire changes, fuel delivery, and locksmith services are just a toll-free phone call away.
An experienced TraveLine® representative will help your customers find the help they need using a vast network of more than 20,000 authorized service providers and qualified repair facilities. And, there are no out-of-pocket payments required for a covered loss. Just sign and drive. What’s more, your customer’s motor home is covered for this regardless of who is driving!
Full-Timer Coverage provides liability protection very similar to a homeowners policy. While an auto policy will only provide liability protection when your customer is using the RV as a vehicle, a Foremost Full-Timer policy covers your customers when they are parked and using their rig as a residence, too.
